Can I print A4 without margins?
If you want to print borderless on an A4 format, it is first necessary to select the right paper and quality setting for the printer. Select "adjust format" and "print borderless" before clicking on "ok".
Some printers have a "margin" option you can adjust that may make white margins smaller, but it still may not eliminate them entirely. Select File > Print > Print Full Page Slides. In the Print dialog box, look for a More settings link and select it.

The standard margins for Word, for A4 pages are 2.5 cm for each side.
When your document is set to A4 paper, Microsoft Word sets the TOP and BOTTOM margins to 2.54 cm (1 inch) and the LEFT and RIGHT margins to 3.17 cm (1.25 inches).
How much bleed do I need? The standard amount of bleed needed is 3mm on each edge, making the length of each side 6mm longer then it needs to be. So an A4 sheet with the correct bleed is sized at 216mm x 303mm. This is then trimmed to its finished size of 210mm x 297mm.
How do I print full Bleed on A4?
When you first create your document, select the Print option and select your paper size. It's under Print, then Preset Details, and near the bottom of the options are “Bleed and Slug“.
To resolve this issue, change the default paper size of your printer: Click Start, point to Settings, and the click Printers. Right-click the appropriate printer, and then click Properties. Click the Paper tab, and then click the paper size you want to use in the Paper Size box.

Automatically scale to fit paper

From the File menu, choose "Page Setup" and then set all of your margins to zero. Your document will print across the full width of the paper, as long as your printer's settings are set similarly.

Performing Borderless Printing on any other type of paper may substantially reduce printing quality and/or result in printouts with altered color hues. Borderless Printing on plain paper may result in printouts with reduced quality. Use them only for test printing.

What does borderless printing look like?
Alternatively called full-bleed printing, borderless printing is a printing technique that applies ink to the entirety of the paper's surface. It leaves no unprinted margins or slug area. Borderless printing is especially useful for printing photos, or parts of a larger mosaic like a billboard or banner.
